New Tribes Mission

New Tribes Mission plants churches among people groups who have no access to the Gospel. Our missionaries have a proven track record of:

  • Clearly presenting the Gospel to people with no prior knowledge of the God of the Bible
  • Discipling new believers
  • Planting churches and nurturing them to maturity
  • Partnering with tribal churches to reach other villages and other tribes

KODIAK DELIVERY

KODIAK DELIVERY Geographic isolation is a key obstacle in taking the Gospel to tribal people. Aircraft cut travel time from days to hours or even minutes, and the time is right for the Kodiak by Quest Aircraft, designed specifically for missionary aviation.

Deposits have been made on 14 Kodiaks that New Tribes Mission plans to put into service in various countries where New Tribes Mission works. Now New Tribes Mission must address the costs of getting each plane to the country where it will be used. These costs include:

  • The difference between the deposit ($750,000) and Quest's special reduced price for mission organizations ($900,000)
  • Special equipment for missionary aviation, such as cargo pods, avionics and larger tires.
  • Delivery, shipping, customs, registration and licensing, and insurance.
  • Pilot training and checkout, and setup for maintaining the Kodiak in each country.

The first aircraft is slated to be used in Papua New Guinea. Your investment will further the eternal impact on tribal people. With your involvement, emergency transportation for missionaries and tribal people will be provided, vital supplies will be brought in, new missionaries will delve into culture and language learning, and missionaries will build relationships, teach and model Christ as they trust God to establish mature churches among tribal people.

EMBERA BIBLE TRANSLATION

EMBERA BIBLE TRANSLATION Believers in the 500-member Embera Church in Panama are asking for a revised Bible translation. There are 15,000 Emberas in Panama and another 25,000 in Colombia.

Providing an acceptable and easily comprehensible New Testament and abridged Old Testament in one volume to be used by the Embera churches will help them grow spiritually. This phase will complete the preliminary revision of the New Testament.

New Tribes Mission has planted churches among the Embera in Panama, and Wycliffe Bible Translators has assessed the Embera dialect of Colombia. Your gift will allow these two organizations to pool their efforts in a translation that can be used by Emberas in both countries

TAGBANWA PROJECT

TAGBANWA PROJECT There are nearly 1,300 Tagbanwa Christians today, but more than 7,000 Tagbanwas yet to be reached. The key to equipping the Tagbanwa tribal church Leaders to reach these remaining people is to train them in ministry and provide a means for them to become self-supporting.

To reach this goal, the missionary team among the Tagbanwas has established a training and mentoring program. The Tagbanwa project is a church-based demonstration farm and training center. Tagbanwa church leaders have overseen the birth and ongoing implementation of the program, which aims to equip believers in biblical training, medical care and agriculture.

The missionary team has already invested $29,000 in developing a training facility and curriculum for the Tagbanwas, and in training four men at the Mindanao Baptist Rural Life Center.

Now they are inviting partnerships with them and the Tagbanwa church to prepare 25 men and women to reach their own people. Your investment in this project would help reach more than 7,000 Tagbanwa people living in scattered remote jungle areas who have yet to hear the Gospel message.

GLOBAL OUTREACH FUND

GLOBAL OUTREACH FUND New Tribes Mission focuses on planting tribal churches in remote places. Missionaries serving in isolated villages require the assistance of others in order to stay in those villages and concentrate on their ministries. These teammates perform services such as providing leadership, administration, and consultation help; processing donations and making the funds available to the missionaries; and facilitating communication with home churches, supporters and others.

Gifts to the NTM Global Outreach Fund are used in the most strategic way in order to support the work of missionaries around the world.

Your investment will ensure a strong, effective base of support for NTM missionaries who labor to bring the Gospel to remote tribal groups.
